            Examination Redressal Committee:

  • Purpose: Specifically focused on issues related to examinations such as discrepancies in grading, examination procedures, or any other related concerns.
  • Composition: Often part of the examination committee, including faculty members from relevant departments and examination officials.
  • Process: Students can file complaints regarding their examination experiences. The committee reviews these concerns, verifies the issues, and ensures that proper procedures are followed to address and rectify any discrepancies.

 

2. Anti-Ragging and Anti-Harassment Committee

           Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Harassment Committee

  • Purpose: Dedicated to preventing and addressing issues related to ragging, which is any form of harassment or bullying by senior students towards juniors.
  • Addresses issues related to harassment, including sexual harassment, and ensures a safe and respectful environment for students.
  • Composition: Includes faculty members, student representatives, administrative staff, police representative, local media representative, NGO member, and parent representative to ensure an unbiased approach.
  • Process: Students can report incidents of ragging through formal or informal channels. The committee investigates these incidents, takes corrective actions, and implements preventive measures to ensure a safe environment for all students.
  • Students can file complaints about harassment. The committee conducts a thorough investigation while maintaining confidentiality, provides support to victims, and takes appropriate actions to address and prevent further harassment.
